Tonight has seen a new low, an absolute capitulation by the team. The score tells the tale. I'm always upbeat about my team, the Bears, but I can't find an excuse for tonight's disaster. Did the team go there tonight with the mindset we are gonna get walloped as we did in the home meeting ? I really don't have an answer. My resolve has been sorely tested tonight. Too disappointed to add anything more.

I'm with you in all you've said Parkendlass but I would like to hear every riders version and the manager, of the whole meeting as to what went wrong, The best they managed was one drawn heat and no rider won a heat. I can't ever remember our team not having a heat win or a rider not winning a race and I'm includind the days at Ceveland Park. But someone maybe can..

I remember we got clobbered for 70 points at Kings Lynn in 2006, but Chris Kerr won a race in that match. I'd like to think it can't get any worse this season, but I know it can.

I see we have got into Edinburgh record books. That score equals Monarchs highest ever score at Armadale.....

Surely the title of this thread is wrong ? what speedway match Redcar have totally lost the plot - the new riders really showed their worth
All we hear in the programme is negativity about running costs , will we be running the Silver Helmet , will we even be running at all
Redcar provide brilliant racing and good entertainment all I ask for is a team of tryers

Well that's enough for me, I'm finished with Speedway after almost 50 years. I endured years of crap promotion and teams during the Havelock era and honestly thought a new dawning had arrived at Redcar with Kevin Keay and his partners. Unfortunately this team is worse than anything Havelock produced, all we hear is negative comments from the Promotion, we have no money, the crowds are poor, the riders are not available etc....
Supporters are being short changed every week to the point of not even knowing if the Silver Helmet is going to run. Another wooden spoon to add to the collection this year, well done everyone involved but my money will stay in my pocket.

If Ben Duffill is on sickness leave and Jade was on his holidays who was actually the team manager up at Edinburgh?

Well Scunthorpe at Edinburgh tonight have only got FOUR more points than our lads did, So that softens the blow quite a lot, which makes me wonder about the track up there because Scunny hammered Sheffield last night on their track.
