Well don’t forget this , our first home league match , I personally think the crowd will be affected, I hope not . Edinburgh the night before for the first league match We don't have any option but to move some home meetings from Friday with Edinburgh, Glasgow & Scunthorpe all having priority over us on Fridays. To accommodate them we have had to move some meetings to other nights. This one is a Saturday 22nd June, Glasgow cup meeting to Tuesday 2nd July plus even the rearrange Eastbourne meeting has had to move to Sunday 4th August (because we are away at Glasgow that weekend on the Friday). Ironically we even have a Thursday meeting with the BSPA wanting the Under 19 final on Thursday 15th Aug. That's the problem of being last in the pecking order on Fridays with us being the new boys on that night.

That's not strictly true are you saying the other teams are all at home every Friday they have no gaps at home where they could come to us on a Friday

Under no circumstances did we ever want to run on an alternative night to a Friday. It is only ever used as a last resort. Fixture planning has been extremely difficult and frustrating. Regards, Jitendra Thanks Jitendra. I did not say that the other Friday night clubs were at home every Friday & I can understand that the other Friday night clubs will want to keep some of their Fridays free in case they get some rain offs. It has to be said that we have got 2 Friday night clubs to come to us on Fridays .i.e. Scunthorpe 12th July & Glasgow 13th Sept (Glasgow at The Media Prima Arena on a Friday 13th hope that's not a bad omen).

Lol we don't need any more bad luck ,thanks for the reply Jitendra I personally don't really care which night we run I can pretty much make any night and accept that you've endeavoured to get all our meetings on Fridays to give people a regular night for their diaries but it always seems to be us doing the changing and how many premier teams have had meetings this year on alleged championship nights

Well last night was 1 point from getting a point , no mistakes tonight against a a squad of quick gaters, They are also stronger with Palovaara in fo Sedgmen.
I think that it is key tonight that Ulrich performs as a heat leader & that we get a 5-1 in heat 2 . UTB 🐻🐻🐻🐻

What a great meeting, no stoppages & some excellent racing.
CW. 11+1. Never gave up very good TB 4+1 did what he had to do good win in Heat 8 UO 4. Needs a couple more meetings to fully assess JS. 13 only beaten by the excellent Heeps MPT. 10. Only dropped points in a tremendous heat 13 NG. 6. Rode very well got some points he should not have ! JS. 5+2. Scored more than double his average
Two races 13 & 15 were worth the entrance money . All credit to Cameron Heeps, brilliant all night but in these 2 he excelled

Can't really argue with that assessment kazbear !! Heat 15 absolute belter of a race...Jordan pulled a locker which impeeded Charles which gave Cameron heeps a chance and boy did he take it !! Great stuff...Jordan deserved rider of the night for us but heeps for the monarchs with a very gutsy display !!

Great first home display from the Bears. Full value for the points.. Augurs well, fans crave good racing, and the MPA track is set up to make sure that happens. As said, heats 13, and 15 worth the entrance money alone.. Well done, I'm sure Ulrich will blend in soon. Seeing the riders in heat 15 applauding each other was a special moment in my book. A real, " nice to see ", moment. UTB !!'

Taken from the Monarchs website in reviewing last nights meeting.
“word for the Redcar promotion. What a great setup they have, centre green immaculate, track in great condition and everything running like clockwork. A super place to watch Speedway.”

A super place to watch Speedway.” Although there are many hard working helpers there is one man who's dedication to that place knows no bounds, seven days a week every week you will find him at the track either on some major construction or tinkering with some bit of machinery. He always says he likes to stay quietly in the background but I think we all know who he is!!!!!
