Can anyone help please, Did Middlesbrough Tigers or Redcar Bears have any New Zealand Riders riding for them ? if so can you please let me know riders name and what year he rode. Thank you.

Think this is one for Steve Harland..
I go back to Middlesbrough Bears from 1961.....We had New Zealander Brian Mckeown in 1962...He was brilliant.

Most of the ones I would of said not 100% sure but possibly also Mick Moore and Merv Salt were kiwis without checking. And also Wayne Brown did ride once as a guest for Mark Courtney in our 1981 championship season now were is Harlo when you need him

Mick Moore wasn't from New Zealand but Merv Salt was.He rode in 74 and showed great promise.It was a shame he did'nt come back in1975 but maybe age was'nt on his side.
