The forum will be put into sleep mode later on this evening.
A reshuffle is taking place and requires it offline for an hour
Il be doing it late on so if your wanting to get on you will have to wait until its done.

Err....is anyone out there still 'running' this forum?
I recognise that not a lot of people actually post anymore, but the number of viewers 'over the last 24 hours' does suggest that there is still an interest in the forum, however for the scrolling 'Latest News' to still list the 2017 team does show a bit of negligence to any visiting guests - if we get them.
I know I'm a moderator but as far as I'm concerned it's only to allow me to update 'Boothers Bend' as and when I can manage it and I have neither the inclination nor the knowledge (or the access?) to make this change - and I have tried!
No criticism intended (and no - I'm not volunteering). Just an honest question.
Cheers, Boothers.

Agree with boothers it does need a tidy up please When you say tidy up do you mean getting rid of old posts before a certain date? A bit time consuming but easy enough, who decides on a date? Like Boother says we only have limited powers as mods.

For a kick off 2017 team news needs getting rid off, it just needs a general overhaul bringing it up to date

I have been in touch with a member of ProBoards community help forum and as an example of a well laid out forum I sent a link to Bears Talk but unfortunately they could not view the forum as guests have to register. There must be many potential supporters put off viewing and hopefully finding something of interest because of the registering obstacle.
Can we at least give viewing only a try without having to register?
