I'm a bit surprised at the lack of comments on Smoggy.
I must admit when I first saw the photo and then heard the name I wasn't too sure about him/her (can someone clarify the gender? yes I do know who is in the suit). All that has changed and I think Smoggy is a real asset to the club, marching in front of the riders in the parade is just brilliant although marching down the track might give more supporters a better view. Smoggy has a real talent in interacting with fans especially the kids, I did hear he/she was a great hit at the hospital visit.
Well done Smoggy.

Doing an excellent job well done does put smiles on faces and interacts with the kids around the stadium very well can't be easy when your out there on your own

It's the small things that make a world of difference and that's something that's been lacking for years. I remember at mildenhall some years ago when I used to go to all away meetings in my bear suit, the guy on the wandering mic called me out to do a tug of war with mildenhalls tiger mascot who was actually an older lady of around 65 I had to let win, well it was part of the entertainment I couldn't pull her over 😂 Which brings me on to mildenhalls guy on the mic, how about a guy wandering around the track talking to fans and asking who they think will win and doing bears war cries ? It's simple entertainment and going that extra mile to keep fans entertained

Will we be seeing Smoggy next season? If we have Friday nights then maybe more kids will be there and Smoggy is a fantastic asset. She must be the best mascot in speedway I hope we don't lose her!

When Smoggy first appeared on the scene, I posted what a pleasure it was to see Smoggy and the little ones dancing the ," I am the music man", dancing. They enjoyed themselves so much, and it wasn't just the kids that enjoyed seeing our mascot on a race night.
Please be there next season for us Smoggy !!
