Richie Worrall of Glasgow will guest for the Bears at Edinburgh on Friday as Jason Garrity is at a family funeral. Bears will also be using rider replacement for Charles Wright who will be riding for Somerset in the Premiership.

Guests & double up down is th death of this sport.
Each team should have a number 8 to use for EITHER reserve. Tough if you have a high scorer .

Not bad given the changes etc. Nothing from r/r & engine problems for Ben
Great efforts from JBA & Garcia.
Poor return from Mr Entertainment

The S.G.Petch Bears battled hard at Edinburgh last night but with mechanical gremlins besetting Ben Barker and already missing Charles Wright it was just too much to overcome despite a great performance from guest Richie Worrell. Richie weighed in with 13 ( plus a bonus) and was well backed by Jonas Andersen and Coty Garcia but with other struggling with the tight track the possibility of a match bonus point just slipped away after a heat 14 5-1 to the Monarchs. With Jason Garrity and Charles Wright returning to the side the Bears go to Ipswich tonight determined to get something from the fixture. Jack Parkinson-Blackburn covers for the absent Ellis Perks.

To be honest when you get seven points from two heat leaders Charles missing and four from RR you have to think on present form he'd have done better and Ben suffering mechanical problems don't think he will have many evenings that bad and our alleged stronger reserve picking up just one starting to look like that might be a regular thing , to still hit the forty point mark was a very good effort on a difficult track against a side that rarely give much away The difference in the sides was probably Mark Riss at reserve who seems to be their trump card at the minute ,great to see Coty Garcia building his confidence with another two heat wins ,Jonas b is becoming more consistent for the whole meeting now great two days from him ,young Ellis will improve as he gets used to the away tracks we have to be careful and not expect to much from him , and Ritchie Worral fantastic effort from a lad with a poor history regarding Redcar will go a long way to improving that situation. All in all a great effort up the bears now let's get at those witches early season double would be nice .

It appears to me that the official referee's scorechart which is submitted to the SCB for this match is incorrect in that Ellis has been awarded 2 of Jonas' points in Heat 7 and Jonas not accredited with a race at all for that heat. This (unless it is double checked - I don't know the SCB procedures (who does)) would mean that both riders official MA's will be incorrect for the season. I have informed our hard working and conscientious web master regarding this but if anyone else from officialdom sees this and would like to take the appropriate action let's keep them right!

Not doubting your information at all but where do you look to see the refs official score card The scores on sgb site seem to be correct the same as updates etc

Click on fixtures/results. Click on April. Scroll to yesterdays match. Click on blue score to download the official KanDysoft spreadsheet submitted to SCB. Heat 7 result has been incorrectly filled in. 2 points attributed to Ellis Perks as r/r in white and nothing to JBA in yellow - as in nothing, not a 0. Because nothing has been entered the spreadsheet has not counted this as a ride so not only has Ellis been credited with Jonas' points but Jonas has only taken 4 rides (according to the spreadsheet)

Just had a look pretty basic schoolboy error when you consider he gives the result to the stadium announcer how come it wasn't picked up at the time when the result is announced

Had confirmation from Kevin that he was aware of the mistake and has taken the appropriate action to get it corrected.
