🏁 Team News 🏁
Bears travel to Somerset tonight in what should be a thrilling league encounter. Unfortunately Tom Bacon is still feeling the effects of his fall at Peterborough on Sunday and the Bears will operate Rider Replacement for him. Tom is aiming to return on Friday for our home fixture against Leicester. Best wishes Tom 🐻

Wishing Tom a swift recovery. Good luck to the Bears tonight. A performance like our earlier visit to Oak Tree a few weeks ago ( with another 4 points please ), would be very well received. A safe meeting to all riders. UTB !!

It seems a major communication ...lack of it....from the match referee, was a direct factor in two of our riders missing the two minutes rule in heat 12. Till that point in the meeting, the lads were in with a great chance of getting something from the meeting, Not much reward for the reserves tonight. Result ....a 12 point loss. Could so easily been a point, or even two tonight. Why do they have an interval anyway ? It certainly isn't so the crowd can get their chips and hot dogs. Those who make speedway rules have seldom taken the fans into account.

Any information as to why this happened Charles was on two rides on the trot so we're we notified that he was under two minutes he'd won the previous race how much is to change for him to turn around and go straight back out after refuelling I don't know the technical side of things or was it a communication problem between manager and referee or manager and rider sure it's not the first time this year we've had a rider miss the two minutes when on consecutive rises didn't it happen to Nathan Greaves at Sheffield or Scunthorpe aswell
