Tremendous result. A maximum for Erik, Michael excellent....Nathan....another great performance. Good points return from Jake and Jordan, and Kasper.
It's been a long, long time since a 16 point away win. In truth, I don't know, has it ever happened ?
Over to Boothers for that one !!
This is one good Bears team. The " blip", last week fully recovered, and a bit more. The Bears are motoring now. UTB !!

Excellent result against a weakened Brummies team but the Bears took full advantage.
Hope Charles only rides on Friday if he is 100% - rather use R/R than risk him aggravating his injury.

Doesn't strike me as the type of lad to take unnecessary risk with an injury but he is a speedway rider and we all know how determined he is ,heat 15 against Scunthorpe virtually on one leg ,I honestly think Louis Kerr will be a very good guest and RR would cover for Charles against a very weak Birmingham side

sounds like they will be without Adam Ellis ,Lawrence Rodgers said only Berwick weren't riding on Friday and he's already booked one of their riders for Friday why hes saying that when Sheffield and Eastbourne aren't riding either surely he can't be that unaware

Followed on Twitter & also listened on the WM BBC LINK -Very good coverage .
We might have hit 60 with Charles . Good to see Tom getting a point in heat 2 against a much higher rated rider . Every rider contributed
Weather does not look good for Friday , We will move up the table when we get more home matches UTB

. It's been a long, long time since a 16 point away win. In truth, I don't know, has it ever happened ? Over to Boothers for that one !! Yes, and not so long in fact. If memory serves me right we beat Berwick 34-50 in a match curtailed by their curfew after a bad crash involving David Howe, Lee Payne (both Berwick at the time) and a member of the track staff (cut off didn't work and he was struck by a bike!). This was on 27/05/2017! We nearly made it last year as well, when we beat Sheffield by 14 points (38-52) in August, probably the result that sealed the destination of the dreaded Wooden Spoon.

P.S. I'm not very good with away meetings, I'm very much a Home man (but it's surprising what you can do with old programmes and t'internet). I'm kind of the Danny Gappmaier of statisticians. Peter Baldwin who produces some excellent articles in our Programme and is as well versed as I am in this kind of thing will probably be able to confirm/refute any statement I make about away meetings. I'm sure he must visit the site but don't know his username etc.
