TEAM NEWS
Tom Woolley is suffering with a collar bone injury as a result of his crash during Fridays clash against Glasgow at the Media Prima Arena. He is unable to take his place in the Bears fixture at Newcastle tonight and will be replaced by Josh Embleton. Tom is hoping to be fit for the Play Off Semi-Final and KO Cup Final. Anybody travelling to watch the Bears this evening should be aware that the A19 is closed at the Testo’s Roundabout, so an alternative route should be taken.

No news yet anywhere that I can find other than a suggestion that both are out for the remainder of the season (just a rumour as far as I know).
If the worst comes to the worst, have to think of appropriate guests (and I honestly don't know where we stand - rules being rules and constantly changing) but I reckon if we have anymore meetings in September then best bets would be Steve Worrall/Lewis Kerr for MPT and the only possible guest I can think of for Nathan would be Broc Nicol.

I think we could get Richard lawson in at home (hopefully) For nathanaway (at Glasgow ) Zaine Kennedy or janes Sarjeant

Rather try and use Jake Allan and Broc Nichol for all remaining meetings allow them to feel part of the set up think Jake would give us 100% effort as would Broc and maybe we owe him the chance to earn a few quid more was very good for us untill he got injured

From the Bears website:-
Michael Palm Toft and Nathan Greaves were involved in a horrific crash during last night’s Championship League clash at Newcastle. Michael lifted coming off turn 2 during heat 12, falling from the rear of his bike and was run over by Nathan Greaves who was unable to avoid his fallen teammate. Both riders were taken straight to hospital for treatment, with Nathan being discharged after X-Rays. Nathan has sustained tissue and some ligament damage to his leg and hip, escaping without any breaks. Unfortunately, Michael has a fracture to one the vertebrae in his back and severe bruising to his chest and lungs. He has been kept Newcastle’s RVI Hospital for further assessment and monitoring. Nathan is hopeful that he will return before the end of the Agilia Bears season, but Michael has not been so fortunate, with his season coming to an end. We would like to wish both riders a speedy recovery and will keep you updated with their progress.

Can do the end of this month till it goes up. Would think we would use track specialists for wherever we end up riding in the play offs, plenty available with MPT's higher average this month.

Website also says that the playoff semi final will be held on 27th September (opponent TBC) so looks like KOC will be in October?

Josh Pickering for the away leg of KO Cup Final. Rides Newcastle very well.

Leicester have picked Redcar as their semifinal opponents and are using Richard Lawson as guest for Richie Worrall in both legs

(unless you mean for the final of course, and Nathan may be back by then lol) and just for suggesting James Sarjeant, it's three strikes and you're out!
