Anybody seen the SCB statement in Speedway Star today regarding the Birmingham fiasco? Itβs pathetic, apparently when the match v Glasgow in 2017 was abandoned at Heat 9,the lead of 8 points that Glasgow had meant the result was mathematically certain!!! but the 8 point lead that we had meant the result was not? Also the 70 minute delay due to Birminghamβs inept track preparation had nothing to do with the meeting being called off!!! Yet again the amateur, inept promotions are let off and the dedicated, good, forward thinking people trying to drag this sport forward are kicked in the nuts.We should never have to be made to go to Bumingham to replay the second leg,if we have to though I will shout louder than ever if we stuff it up them!!

Totally agree. The SCB have made a statement in black and white for all to see, which is factually not true, especially regarding the results as they stood at the time, proving again to everyone that they are just a laughing stock. Apparently Ben has made an excellent response on his facebook page.

Shame i don't have face book anyone able to put his statement on here I'm fuming about how inept and corrupt they are no wonder Ben has been forced to give up his role simply because unlike the cheating powers that be he has morals and principals

How was our eight point lead different as with their rider disqualified from heat ten we would have had at least a three each in heat ten it's just wrong how ever you look at it . Then every time over the last few years they've needed help we've stepped up to hist meetings they wer stuck with because of the weather or other clubs simply letting them down

How many other clubs are backing Redcar in this?

We could appeal it independently legally but that would cost a lot of money Redcar don't have and that is entirely why theses cheating corrupt people get away with these things I said at the time of the Glasgow fiasco that it was down to money and at the time Glasgow were Billy big bucks and got their way unfortunately that's how speedway works it's run by dodgy amateurs

If England win on Saturday they will play a semi-final on Wednesday July 7th,are Bumingham going to run against that?If they postpone the match, when are they going to run it?They already have 2 other league matches to fit in.This could all impact the running of the whole KO Cup competition and potentially the league playoffs. They should do,or be made to do the right thing and concede, but donβt hold your breath!!!!

Just to add salt to the wound of possibly going up against England on Wednesday (if they get through). The rearranged date for the league meeting (8th Sept) is definitely up against England v Poland in a world cup qualifier. That will affect the crowd and not help their finances!!!
