Just for a bit of fun, who's the worst riders we have ever had? It can be Teesside, Middlesbrough or Redcar. There's bound to be a few from over the years.
Il start of,
Joni Keskinen - he spent more time racing to the parmo shop near me than he did on track. Mind his claim to fame was beating Derek Sneddon.
Come on guys there must be loads and try to add some facts about the rider. I'm sure this thread will suit the old guard on here as there must be dozens they have seen

Mick Conroy. From back in the mid 70s. He was worse than Keskinen Drac.

Not the worst, but certainly the most infuriating - Daz Sumner. Fastest rider of the night when he gated, but couldn't pass to save his life

add to that list....robert nagy - arrived as glasgow tigers number one heat leader and one of the best riders in the league. basically never got close to living up to the hype ! agree on martin peterca totally hopeless. agree also on joni kesinen and henning bager from the more modern era. i would also add arlo budeja to the list. going back to daz sumner from the middlesbrough days..brilliant from the inside gates, woefull from gate four. i used to fill the nought in automatically haha !

Mike Beaumont, good on grass, useless on shale. Does anybody remember the incident with Jack (The Villain) Millen in 1977. Real Pantomine antics, which sadly we do not see any more.

Tebbsy was poor on shale but I recall watching him do the business when sand racing @ Redcar!
